SHIPPING INFORMATON
BASICS:
1. Freeze solid, wrapping alternately in plastic, newspaper, plastic - then label with customer's name. 2. Place a list of "all items enclosed" in a plastic bag in the box to ensure that nothing will be discarded or overlooked.  For a sample packing slip click here.
3. Pack tightly to keep head/s from shifting.
4. Ship early in the week.
Make sure box is marked: "Taxidermy Items"
5. Confirm arrival.  Call or
e-mail us to make sure your box has arrived.
If you follow these basics you'll be less likely to ship without damage or loss.
The idea is to minimize problems with the shipping company, so smelly, leaking, poorly packed boxes will arrive quickly.  It's always best to confirm that we have received your box, so check your tracking number or call us.  It will take one or two weeks for you to get our confirmation invoice.  If you don't receive an invoice from us in two weeks -
track down your box.
OTHER POINTS TO CONSIDER:
-  It is best not to ship too many items in one box because they bump against each other.
- Cutting away the meat and removing the jaw, if not wanted, will save money on shipping costs.
- When removing the neck, cut away the last vertebra with a knife and never a saw.
- Write your name and address (or supply an additional packing slip) on the outside of the box.
- We don't care what the box looks like, just make sure it's strong enough to protect contents.
- Protect deer tines with foam, pieces of garden hose taped to the tine, or additional cardboard.
- Each skull is insured for the price of our processing.  If you want additional insurance notify us.
- Return shipping will be itemized on your final invoice.
